Era Peel® By Aerolase
Era Peel® By Aerolase
Our Era is a powerful yet gentle aesthetic laser that can help any resurfacing needs from superficial indications such as issues with tone, texture, and sun damage to deeper concerns such as crow’s feet, smoke wrinkles, scar revision, and everything in between by ablating the epidermis of the skin. It's 300 Microsecond 2940nm technology administers short-duration pulses, allowing patients to receive highly effective treatments with minimal discomfort and recovery time. The Era's high efficiency means that patients can complete a facial rejuvenation procedure in just one sitting, as opposed to multiple treatments with other technologies. Additionally, only a beam of laser light touches the skin during the procedure - making it one of the most hygienic and comfortable treatment options available.
Era is the best of both worlds when it comes to erbium resurfacing treatments - it combines the precision of full-area resurfacing with the minimal downtime of fractional resurfacing. By precisely controlling each pulse's depth of ablation, Era can deliver uniform results across the treated area while also sparing the surrounding tissue from collateral damage. This unique approach allows our providers to tailor each treatment specifically to the individual needs of our patients, resulting in better outcomes and more satisfied patients.
Era Peel® By Aerolase Treatments
Refresh, Reveal, And Renew
Profound Skin Rejuvenation in a Single Treatment in 3 different treatments!
This treatment ranges from sublative treatment to a micro peel and aims to ablate the most superficial layer(s) of skin. The sublative treatment leaves a healthy glow on the skin, which can be noticed immediately after treatment. There is no downtime associated with this treatment and patients with skin types I-VI are candidates. These treatments are perfect for enlarged pores and uneven skin tone and texture. Treatment is performed in a simple 15-minute procedure. Due to the precise depth control, there is no collateral thermal damage to the surrounding skin, allowing a very quick healing period of less than a few days.
All patients are candidates
Quick, simple, no anesthetic
Great for all skin tones & types
While the most aggressive treatment, this procedure is still much gentler than other ablative modalities thanks to the pulse duration and carefully controlled depth of ablation, which will enable profound rejuvenation in just one treatment as compared with 4-8 fractional treatments. Therefore, downtime occurs only once, instead of after each procedure. This treatment aims to gently vaporize moderate sun damage and fine lines. It is recommended that a topical anesthetic is applied before treatment.
Profound results in a single treatment
Gentler than C02
This procedure is to address much more pronounced signs of aging, such as deep wrinkles and extensive sun damage. While the most aggressive treatment, this procedure is still much gentler than other ablative modalities thanks to the 300-microsecond pulse duration and carefully controlled depth of ablation, which will enable profound rejuvenation in just one treatment as compared with 4-8 fractional treatments. Therefore, downtime occurs only once, instead of after each procedure.
Cutaneous lesions are skin growths that come in many shapes and sizes. Aerolase lasers offer ablative and non-ablative methods to precisely remove lesions while avoiding treatment scarring or collateral tissue damage commonly seen with other methods of removal.
The Era 2940nm erbium laser can be used to ablate or vaporize lesions, including flat or raised growths. This is a much more precise and controlled operation than traditional methods such as excision or cryotherapy, which can cause adjacent tissue damage and potential scarring. With Era, cutaneous lesions are removed in one quick, minimally invasive treatment with low discomfort.
Scars & Striae
Our Era Treatment is used to ablate skin along incision lines, post-suturing, to minimize raised scar formation, and to resurface existing scar tissue. Era has also been proven to be very effective to minimize scar formation for traumatic scars as well.
Aerolase provides laser technology for two different methods of treating scars. For the treatment of incisions post-suturing, to minimize raised scar formation, the Era is used to ablate along the incision line; this promotes evenness of skin healing and the heat from the laser energy stimulates the formation of new collagen, further improving the surface texture and uniformity. For the treatment of existing scars, the Era can be used to reduce the raised scar tissue and improve texture, while the Neo is used to target pigments including red (vascularity) and brown (hyperpigmentation) to improve the cosmetic appearance of the scar.
