Schedule you appointment 2 weeks prior to a special/important event as it will take 4-7 days for the results to be visible

Avoid taking aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as Ibuprofen, Advil, Motrin, Nuprin, Aleve, Celebrex, Fish oil, Ginko Biloba, St. John’s Wort, Omega 3/Fish Oil supplements and other NSAIDS due to blood thinning effect and increased risk of bruising and swelling at the treated site(s).

Avoid consumption of alcoholic beverages for 24 hours prior to procedure as this can increase the risk for bleeding, bruising and swelling at the treated site(s).

Discontinue any retinols 2 days prior and 2 days after the treatment as your skin becomes sensitive and dry when using retinols and the treatment may feel uncomfortable.

To help with bruising and swelling, take Arnica at least 2 days prior to injections.

Reschedule your appointment if you have a rash or cold sore in the treatment area.

Please let us know prior to treatment if you have a history of cold sores as you may need oral anti-viral medication.

Eat well and hydrate yourself before procedure to minimize dizziness during treatment.

You are not a candidate for treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Avoid massaging the treated area.

Avoid intense exercise for 24 hours.

Avoid sun or heat for 72 hours.

Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to avoid swelling.

For swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes every hour. Also sleep face up with slight elevation.

For any discomfort or pain use Tylenol.
